Effective July 31, 2026 · Culturefold Fieldbook version 1.0.0

No Internet permission · No account · No ads · No analytics · No tracking · No uploads · No location

This policy matches the Android source and exact release behavior.

01

Responsible entity and scope

Asian Arts & Culture Association is responsible for Culturefold Fieldbook on Android. This policy covers version 1.0.0 of the app and its public support pages. It is effective July 31, 2026.

02

Intended audience and adult boundary

The app is intended for adults, educators, parents or guardians, community arts participants, and teens. A child should use it only with a parent, guardian, or authorized facilitator. It is not designed for unsupervised child accounts or direct adult-to-child communication.

03

Purpose and core functions

Culturefold Fieldbook is an offline educational fieldbook with 48 image-led observation cards, six gallery cabinets, a two-card Pairing Table, a private three-card Curator Path, cultural-respect guidance, source notes, local display controls, and this policy. It is not registration, certification, a live event calendar, a donation service, or an official curriculum.

04

Data collected, transmitted, and not collected

The app does not collect or transmit personal data to Asian Arts & Culture Association or to a developer server. It does not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, account identifiers, photos, audio, files, contacts, advertising identifiers, precise or approximate location, health data, financial data, messages, or usage analytics. All educational content is packaged inside the app.

05

On-device preferences and session state

The app may store only two display choices on the device: larger text and reduced motion. Pairing Table and Curator Path selections remain in the current app session and are not uploaded. These local values are not linked to a name, account, device identifier, or participant profile.

06

Sensitive records, youth records, and free-text notes

The app has no free-text journal, attendance record, participant roster, youth profile, injury or incident log, health record, identity document field, or upload feature. Users should not attempt to keep sensitive personal, cultural, medical, educational, or child information in the app.

07

Permissions

Culturefold Fieldbook requests no Internet, location, camera, microphone, contacts, storage, notification, Bluetooth, advertising, or other dangerous runtime permission. Android may add an internal package-signature permission used by the operating system; it does not grant the app access to user data.

08

Accounts, login, and account deletion

The app provides no account, login, membership, cloud profile, or authentication. Account deletion therefore does not apply. Local display choices can be cleared with Reset local choices in the Privacy Cabinet or by clearing app storage or uninstalling the app.

09

Ads, analytics, tracking, and third-party SDKs

The app contains no advertising, targeted advertising, analytics, attribution, tracking pixels, telemetry, crash-reporting service, social SDK, advertising SDK, remote configuration, or third-party network SDK. It does not access or create an advertising identifier.

10

Sharing, disclosure, and sale

Because the app does not collect or transmit personal data, it does not sell, rent, share, or disclose personal data. No data broker, advertiser, analytics provider, or social network receives app activity from Culturefold Fieldbook.

11

External links, contact, and network behavior

Source links and Contact AACA are user-initiated external actions. A source link opens the device browser, and Contact AACA opens the device email client addressed to info@aacaus.com. The external browser or email provider operates under its own privacy terms. The app does not read, send, store, or receive the resulting message or browsing data and has no Internet permission of its own.

12

Retention

The two optional display choices remain only on the device until the user resets them, clears app storage, or uninstalls the app. Session selections end when Android destroys the session or the user changes them. Asian Arts & Culture Association receives no app dataset to retain.

13

Deletion, backup, restore, and device transfer

Reset local choices removes the saved display choices. Clearing app storage or uninstalling removes all app-local state. Android cloud backup and device-to-device transfer are disabled for this app, so the app does not intentionally copy its local preferences to another device.

14

Security measures and limits

The app reduces privacy risk by operating offline, requesting no sensitive permission, using no account or network SDK, disabling backup and transfer, and limiting local state. No software or device is perfectly secure. Device access, screenshots, external browser use, and email are controlled by the user and the relevant device or service provider.

15

Children, families, and safeguarding

The app does not create child profiles, enable chat, expose a child publicly, record attendance, request precise location, support uploads, or show targeted ads. Parents, guardians, or authorized facilitators remain responsible for supervision, consent, suitable materials, group boundaries, and any offline activity. No unrestricted adult-minor messaging is available.

16

Cultural, movement, food, and safety limits

The app supports respectful observation and does not claim that one card represents all Asian cultures, a named community, or an official AACA class. It is not professional cultural authorization, medical advice, therapy, diagnosis, rehabilitation, food-allergy guidance, fitness clearance, martial-arts instruction, supervision, or emergency response. Qualified instructors and responsible adults manage movement, tools, heat, ingredients, allergies, and local emergency procedures. Call local emergency services for urgent danger or a medical emergency.

17

Policy changes and user choices

A material policy change will be published with a new effective date in the app and on the public policy page. Users may stop using the app, avoid external links, keep either display choice off, reset local choices, clear app storage, or uninstall at any time.

18

Privacy contact

Privacy questions about Culturefold Fieldbook may be sent to Asian Arts & Culture Association at info@aacaus.com. A message is handled by the user's email provider and the recipient's email service, not inside the app.
